Such a special time in the life of a child is when they are brought before the church and dedicated to God. Unfortunately I was unable to be present for the actual event for Miss Addison but we did get together back at the church to document this special event several days later.
I met with Gracie and James recently for a session at Southern Homes & Gardens. I just love this location as it always offers such beautiful light and a variety of locations. It was a little windy that day but the kids were happy and we had a fantastic time.
I'm sorry I've been so absent on the blog lately! May is probably one of my craziest months of the year outside of the Fall season. With both of my kids' birthdays (and several other birthdays), end of year school activities, and beautiful weather for sessions, everything just keeps me hopping. Unfortunately the blog got neglected in my limited time to get everything done. I'm back and it's time for some catch up! Look for lots of new posts over the next several days. I'm going to spread them out a bit to keep it new everyday.
These are from a fun session with two little cuties that are growing up too fast! I've been photographing Austin since he was 6 weeks old and then little sister came along last Fall. We had an absolutely gorgeous morning and they did such a great job!
My next trip to Jasmine Hill was a morning session to meet up with Jonah and Lindsay. Jonah is my buddy and I've photographed him since we was just over a year old. Lindsay is the newest addition to the family and has the sweetest little smile. What fun we had on this glorious Saturday morning! Thank you God for the warm sunshine!
Spring has officially sprung! I am so excited as this is my absolute favorite time of year! A sure sign of Spring in this area is always the seasonal opening of Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum in Wetumpka. What a glorious place! This past weekend was beautiful and not only did I take my own children there for some fun and photography (more to come on that later) but I met sweet little Layla and her family there as well. Most of the children I photograph are best photographed in the morning but Layla comes alive in the afternoons. Every session with her is such a joy and she beams with great big smiles. This session was no exception producing more favorite images to treasure.
Watch out girls! This little guy is going to be a heart breaker! With his gorgeous brown eyes and incredible smile, I couldn't help but smile the entire time during our session this past weekend. After rescheduling due to colder temperatures we lucked out and got an incredibly gorgeous Spring day. I think Davey had fun being outside too!
After switching locations several times, we finally found an absolutely gorgeous spot for Miss Abigail's 6 month session. She was the happiest baby and we had so much fun with her yesterday afternoon. She is one of my baby plan members and I have really enjoyed watching her grow!
Here is another one of my baby plan kids that is just growing up right before my eyes! His eyes have transformed into the brightest blue since the last time I saw him and I just love them! What a precious little man he is!
The "P" twins are now 6 months old! Some of you may remember them from their newborn session - one of my favorite sessions to date! We happened to pick the absolutely coldest morning of the season and BRRR! It was cold! The girls were quite the troopers and in case you were wondering we kept them bundled up tight between shots. :) We kept it short because of the temperatures and I'm looking forward to seeing more of these cuties in the upcoming weeks when we'll try to find a warmer day for a longer session.
