Playing with Textures

Adding textures to images has been around a while but I've never been very sure if I liked it or not. Today I came across a texture that I loved and knew just the image I wanted to play with. Here's the before...

Here's after adding the textured background. I think it give a sense of warmth to the image. Which do you prefer? Please leave a comment and let me know! :)
